4 Things You Must Be Consistently Doing On A Daily Basis To Grow Your Network Marketing Business:

 

There are basically only four fundamentals things that one has to do everyday if they are to see any growth in their home based Network Marketing business.

They are:

1.  Prospect

2.  Invite

3.  Present

4.  Follow up

These 4 steps make up the fundamental PROCESS of what needs to be done daily to succeed in this particular profession.

Learn early in your career to fall in love with the process.  To abhor this process will ultimately mark your untimely “death” in this industry.

Do not get emotionally attached to the outcome.  It really doesn’t matter if people say “No” to your product or opportunity; not everyone, as much as you would like to believe, will always desire either.

Like I said earlier, get addicted to the “process” and continue to sort and sift through the mass numbers of people and find those who ARE interested in what you offer.

They are there waiting to be found.  You’ll just have to learn to work harder, “step up to the plate” on a daily consistent basis and continue to go through the numbers and implement the PROCESS.

Create your vision and go for it!

I know you can do it.  Do not give up!  Do not quit!

The Basic Reason Why People Quit This Amazing Profession

It’s a sad thing to see so many people join our amazing profession of Network Marketing only to find themselves quitting.

They come in with the preconceived notion that it’s going to be a “walk in the park” and that they’ll just talk to a few friends with the assumption that they’ll be more than happy to join their new business project.

However, that is very seldom the case.  What usually happens when approaching friends and loved ones is you get this critical reception of, “that’s a pyramid scheme” or, the well renown “that’s a scam”.  After a succession of such mockery, the idea of ever becoming successful at their new found business suddenly becomes a “bad idea”.

Here’s the true essence of their failure.  They’ve only spoken to a few friends who were the wrong prospects.

Remember this:  your success in your network marketing business will be in direct proportion to the number of people you decide to talk to.  This amazing profession is a numbers proposition.  If you’re not willing to reach out to tons of people, your business will never see the geometric progression that it’s capable of. 

Allow me to ask you these 3 questions:

  1.  “How many people have you spoken to today about your business opportunity or products?”.
  2.   “How many people did you speak to yesterday about your business opportunity or products?”.
  3.   “How many people do you plan on speaking to tomorrow about your business opportunity or products?”.

If you have not at the least spoken to 100 people and at the least received 100 no’s, you quitting your business is premature.  You are not giving yourself ample time to see the growth that is ONLY possible if you decide to stick it out and forge forward. 

Do yourself a favor.  Give yourself time to grow your mindset along with the skill sets that are necessary in building this type of business. 

Have faith in your abilities.  But more importantly, have faith in your dreams.

You can do it.  I believe in you.

Thousands of people join a Network Marketing business everyday.  And thousands of the very same individuals expect to be very successful in their respective companies.

People having high hopes and big dreams of attaining financial freedom flock into their particular companies hoping to make a difference in their lifestyle and in their finances.

Unfortunately, people get into the business expecting big things too soon; being subconsciously enticed into the industry by what is seen and read on the internet of the many successful stories given birth by Network Marketing.

People need to realize that success that happens “overnight” in network marketing is an absolute rarity.  Many factors come into play when wanting to build a successful Network Marketing business.  Proficiency in prospecting, following-up, cold-calling, recruiting, etc. are skills that are going to have to be learned over time.

Patience as a virtue has a definite place in this business.  If you don’t have it, it’ll just be a matter of time before a person becomes another statistic in this amazing industry; a person who bitterly concludes that they “tried”, never made any money, and ultimately pronounces that the industry is a scheme, a scam, and it doesn’t work.

The only difference between two people getting into the same business, and one becoming more successful than the other, is not the compensation plan or the products/service(s) being introduced into the market place.

It’s the individual’s tenacity, patience, drive, and work ethic that makes the essential difference.

In conclusion then, I ask the question, “Do you have what it takes to succeed in this amazing industry of Network marketing?”.

If your answer is a resounding, “Yes!”, then I encourage you to begin your research and find a company that you can join and start promoting it.

If your answer on the other hand is, “No!”, then by all means, do NOT get into a Network Marketing business or any commission based business for that matter.

It’s okay!  This industry isn’t for everybody.

Can One Truly Be Motivated To Succeed?

The question is often asked, “Can I really motivate people in my group or business to succeed?”.

The true question that should be asked is: “Can I motivate people in life in general?”.

Unfortunately, the answer is, “No!”. You can’t.

A person can be inspired, but to be motivated is a totally different story.

The truth of the matter is, a person can expose himself to all the personal development material in the world and to every “guru” in the world, but if the motivation doesn’t originate from within, their activity will be short lived.

For any piece of information to be impactive, it first needs to be moved upon.

But that won’t ever be realized until one is motivated enough to move into the execution phase.

Until then, they’re just mere words.

Every person has to search for their “own” motivation. Their “why?” so to speak.

We all have our reason(s) for doing certain things, and that’s where one is going to have to dig deep to find out for themselves.

To do something just for the sake of doing it cannot be compared to doing something because of a deeper reason or motive.

To ever flourish in any endeavor, the person seeking must first really want it for themselves.

Pep rallies, Conventions, and rah-rah sessions can only do so much until it runs out.

Then what?

The most powerful skillset a person can every have is self-motivation:

Being eager to get up in the morning and dreading having to go to bed too early because the drive/motivation you have in you is so strong that it needs to be expressed in video, text, or in whatever form you’ve chosen.

Self-motivation is evident when you can perform on a large scale, and it doesn’t matter if anyone else believes in you, it matters not if they recognize you, and it doesn’t even matter if they aren’t supportive.

All that matters is that you have this powerful and personal inner drive that propels you to constantly stretch yourself and to always be moving forward in your business or life in general.

The Importance of Posture in the Industry of Network Marketing

What exactly is posture and why is it important in our profession of Network Marketing?

First, let’s define the word “posture”.

Definition: “To assume a certain attitude or behave in a certain way, especially to make an impression or gain an advantage.”

The words I’d like to focus on in this definition are: assume, attitude, behave, impression, advantage.

In summary: Attitude and behavior is a mindset; impression and advantage are the results of the mindset.

So, in breaking down this simple definition, what does it mean for the Network Marketer.

My definition: “To take upon oneself (assume) a certain kind of mindset (of power/authority) that conveys strength or superiority.”

Your Primary Responsibility in Network Marketing

Your job as a Network marketing professional is not to go out and convince everyone you see about your opportunity.  Your only responsibility is to expose as many people to your opportunity as quickly as possible so that you can move on to the next person.  Do not, I repeat, DO Not! try to convince, cajole, persuade, coerce anyone into joining your business (Always operate from a position of power and strength).  Remember, you possess that opportunity that has already changed the financial situation of hundreds before you.

Remember…………

“A person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still.”

You’re not prospecting to get everyone into your opportunity.  Besides, if you have to persuade someone to join you in business, chances are, you’ll have to persuade them to roll-up their sleeves and actually get to work. This is Net-WORK marketing.  It takes lots of work and tenacity to build this business.  You DON’T want average people who are not willing to work.  You want movers, shakers, people who are not afraid to open new markets.  People who say, “come on, let’s go and get it done!  Let’s build this thing big!”.

So, as you go out into the market place, know this, you have in your possession a gift that has the potential to make a dramatic change in a person’s financial situation should they decide to run with you.

Posture up and don’t pay any mind to the ridicules, because they will come.  They’ll attack you from every angle that you can think of:  friends, family members, co-workers, people in general who have no idea what they’re talking about will seem to appear from nowhere. 

So, remember, posture is everything.

Start developing and strengthening your mindset to get that POSTURE.

Read!  Study! Learn!

Then apply those things.

Your business will flourish IF you have the intestinal fortitude to go on.

So DON’T QUIT!

The Importance Of Personal Development

The practice of personal development in the ever challenging life of a Network Marketing professional is very key if success is ever to be achieved.

As a matter of fact, its been said that “the profession of Network Marketing is personal growth disguised as a business.”

Our profession is the only activity that puts the mind into a yo-yo effect in that emotions are forever changing.  From excitement to discouragement.  From victory to seemingly defeat.  The mind in this profession is forever being tempered and tested.

If a person’s mind isn’t daily exposed to positive material, the hopes of ever achieving personal goals in this industry will not come to fruition.

Why?…………

Because the human mind is designed to be afraid or fearful.  It’s a means of protecting itself from danger.  But all too often, I’m afraid to say that, most of our fears are often self-imposed, unrealistic, and given to us by our perception of what is.

There have been many people having lofty dreams for their family who have fallen by the way side because they have failed in the endeavor of developing their minds.

Developing Ones Mind Is Of Utmost Importance

There is a particular learning curve that comes with being involved in this amazing industry of Network Marketing.

For instance, learning to have the proper mindset when rejection is thrown at you can only be defeated if the mind has already been trained or conditioned for it.  There are and will be many situations in which those who have no idea of how this industry works will come face to face with.  This is where personal development steps in.

Furthermore, there WILL be days when making a call, prospecting, and following up just won’t be on the agenda.  Because the mind just won’t be right where it needs to be.  That’s why personal development is so crucially necessary.

How Do We Strengthen Our Minds?

For some, listening to audios/CD’s can be a means of development.

For some, listening to music.

And for others, reading a good book pertaining to our industry is what does the trick.

It really doesn’t matter how one goes about in training their mind.  It’s about exposing and feeding your mind on a DAILY basis.

If you haven’t started implementing video marketing because of fear, it’s time to get over that because the future is here.  According to studies, 64% of marketers will be relying heavily on video marketing in the near future to dominate their particular space.  And quite frankly, I can see why that is.  90% of consumers would rather watch a video than read content through text.

The future is here.  Content marketing through video is where it’s at.  Every month YouTube caters to more than one billion viewers.  Obviously, video has a broader reach than any other type of medium.  It only makes sense that, every marketer should be utilizing this avenue to capture a part of that large market.

In an age of information overload, it’s important to offer content that can easily be digested by consumers; besides the fact that videos are naturally engaging.

 

The Enemy of Video Creation……….FEAR.

Attention marketer……….it’s time for you to step out of your comfort or fear zone and begin to think seriously about creating content through video marketing.  I’m quite aware that this can be a very daunting experience for some, but if you are to have a piece of the “pie” you’re going to have to get over your fear quickly.

The Necessity of Posture in Network Marketing

Most Network Marketing Neophytes come into network marketing with the idea of setting the world on fire, which in a sense is an amazing goal.  However, reality is, if one has never been in our particular industry of Direct Sales, it’s going to be difficult for one to attain such feat if he has not learned a certain skillset(s).

As in every new undertaking, including Multi-level Marketing, there will always be a necessary learning curve.  Marketing skillsets will need to be developed if one is to be successful.

One of the essential skillset needed is POSTURE.

Posture in Network Marketing and How To Get It

If you have not yet acquired the skillset of POSTURE, here are some tips on how to get it:

  • Follow a particular leader in the industry whom you would like to imitate (Remember:  Success leaves clues).
  • Begin to read and study personal development materials in the area of leadership and be urgent about implementing the concepts you learn.
  • Surround yourself with people who have the same mindset of building an MLM business.
  • Continually watch the success stories (many of them on Youtube) of those in your particular company

2017-12-17_0308We all go through life searching and looking for our very own personal significance.  If we don’t immediately find it on our own, we start looking for it in unattractive territories where we should never be browsing in the first place.  Oftentimes, people resort to certain groups of so-called peers to ‘feel’ the significance that they are searching for.  Is it there?  No!  What we need to understand and fully realize is — significance only comes when we search within ourselves and discover that the Creator of the Universe instilled within us our very own unique ‘take’ on what it is that we should be doing with the life He has blessed us with.  Just as every living organism was programmed for growth, God wants you to be successful at your very own craft or gifting.

Steps to becoming successful

1.  Make a decision! 

Life is detailed with many decisions.  We practice this discipline everyday of our lives.  how-to-make-a-decision-easily-tips  From the time we wake to the time we lay our heads on our pillows at night, we have made a ‘hundred’ decisions.  However, not all decisions carry the same weight of importance.  For example, the attire you decide to wear to work today is not as important as who you decide to be your marriage partner, which by the way, is very important, lest you find yourself married to a ‘ball and chain’, which would not be good.  Another important decision that has to be made is — what are you going to do with your life?  Decide right now, what it is that you want to do with your life , stick with it, and become the best at it.

2.  Get to work!

  • Eliminate all possible distractions.
  • Disengage the word ‘procrastination’ from your mind forever.
  • Set a goal for what it is you want to accomplish in your business and just get it done.

3.  Stay focused!

I’ll tell you right now.  The most difficult thing you’ll ever experience in our particular industry of network marketing is — staying focused.  There are myriads of ‘shiny objects’ (opportunities) floating in cyberspace waiting to be discovered.  If you are not careful, you’ll find yourself working another program or business opportunity.  This is definitely the sure-fire way to never succeeding at any business.  Purpose it in your heart at this very moment that other opportunities, as amazing and promising they may seem, will not come between you and your ultimate success.  Make a change and do it now.  Eventually, success will yield to your demands, if you decide to remain consistent and focused.

While most are dreaming of success, winners wake-up and work hard to achieve it.
